Design codes are becoming an increasingly important part of planning new development in England. The Levelling Up and Regeneration Bill would require all local authorities to create a design code for their area to fast-track the delivery of beautiful, sustainable and locally popular housing. In this webinar, Scott Adams will explore what design codes are, how they are made and lessons learned from the government's Design Code Pathfinder project.

Scott is Director of Urban Design at BPTW, a Design South East panel member, and formerly worked on design coding at the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and communities (DLUHC).
