In this webinar you will learn about best practice approaches to masterplanning residential and mixed use developmentsfrom expert guest speakers. Co-authors of the book ‘Ecoresponsive Environments’ (Prachi Rampuria and Soham De) will discuss how to plan and design sustainable settlements based on landscape, water and ecology as the starting point.

Andrew Cameron will draw on his experience of working on large scale masterplans such as Poundbury and Nansleden to explore a masterplanning approach for successful, connected communities that prioritise active travel.

The event will close with a presentation from Simon Harrison (Ebbsfleet Development Corporation) introducing the Alkerden and Castle Hill developments at Ebbsfleet, which are the destination of the Kent Design Study Tour on 15 October.
