Join this in-person event to learn about alternative models of housing delivery and tenure and how they can contribute to addressing the housing crisis. Topics include community-led housing, custom-build and co-housing.

Over the coming decades, tens of thousands of homes will be delivered in Kent and Medway. There is an opportunity to complement more mainstream delivery approaches with alternative housing models, which may offer people more flexibility, customisation, community-building and affordability.

Guest speakers will share the opportunities and challenges associated with these models and how the planning system can support them.

Speakers:
Mellis Haward, Director, Archio - Citizen's House community land trust project
Amandeep Kalra, Associate Director, Be First (LB Barking and Dagenham) - A House for Artists
Chris Bath, Partner, BPTW - Alkerden Gateway custom build, Ebbsfleet
Irene Craik, Director, Levitt Bernstein - Case Studies in Alternative Housing
Anne Thorne, Director, Anne Thorne Architects - Cannock Mill Co-housing
