CRASH COURSE 3: Watercolors

What actually is watercolor made out of? Why do the watercolors pans I’ve made come out too soft and others are dry and crumbly? Take this Crash Course to learn how to make watercolor pans and tubes by hand with gum arabic binder and almost any pigment. We’ll also demonstrate how to make watercolor medium from scratch. We’ll explain how to tell if you are using the correct amount of watercolor medium for each pigment. Alternative binders such as PVA and Aquazol will also be discussed.

Please Note for Zoom Classes:
-No need to have a Zoom account to join the class.
-Your camera and microphone will not be on for the class, but of course, you’ll be able to hear and see us! Only your chosen Zoom log-in name will be displayed.
-We will have two cameras running simultaneously- one with an overhead view of the table, and one with a front view from the audience. You should adjust your settings to remove non-video speakers from the gallery view so you are able to see both camera views at the same time.
-You will be able to ask questions in the Zoom chat. We’ll do our best to answer them all, depending on class participation. You can always email us after the class if you still have questions about what we covered.
-The workshop will be recorded. We will send you a link to view  the recording of the class, which will be available for 30 days.
-You get a code for 10% off products for 30 days after the class.
