Sarah Shuttleworth is Plantlife's Specialist Botanical Advisor. She is a botanist with over 15 years' of field surveying experience. She has a passion for teaching wildflower identification and loves to explore the natural world. She's an active member of two local botany groups and has a developing interest in fungi.

Lee Davies - Although he has a background in palaeontology and went through a phase as a botanical curator, Lee is now the Fungarium Collection Manager at Kew Gardens. He works on Fungi of Madagascar, especially entomopathogenic fungi. He is interested in the cultural relationships people have with fungi, entomopathogenic fungi, and in communicating with the public on the importance of fungi.
Ali McKernan (aka The FUNgi Guy) is a mycophile whose crazy passion for fungi is the driving force for his unique style of education and outreach. Models, quirky videos, songs, art, guided walks and much more are all delivered in a whimsical and irreverent manner that demands people sit up and take notice. Ali loves to make fungi accessible to all, and through his education and outreach roles with schools, the North West Fungus Group and the British Mycological Society, he’s on a mission to make somebody somewhere see fungi in a new light.
Aileen Baird works at Plantlife as Senior Conservation Officer for Fungi. She has been working in the field of mycology for 7 years, and her work at Plantlife focuses on protecting fungi across the UK.
Rachel Warmington is Plantlife's Head of Science. A plant scientist, she specialises in plant pathology with experience in fundamental and applied research in plants, fungi, invertebrates, and soil. She enjoys working on collaborative and interdisciplinary research projects and communicating science to diverse audiences.
