Lucy Waverley is a novelist and has been a bookseller, lawyer, and outdoors-ish feature writer, whose subjects ranged from birding with Bill Oddie to tea planting in Cornwall, UK. A sucker for punishment and footnotes, she recently returned to university and is studying for a PhD in art history at Edinburgh.
