In her class Rejection & Resilience, bestselling author, executive producer, and storytelling consultant, Natali Simmonds, will be teaching:

  • What to expect as a creative
  • Looking after your mental health
  • Combating Imposter Syndrome
  • Reframing & Recalibrating
  • When to keep going/quit/start afresh.

Through case studies, personal stories, and various exercises you will not only come away equipped to deal with the inevitable blows in this business, but you will also increase your chances of staying in the game by learning how to get 'luckier'.

Natali says - "Longevity as an author is not purely down to talent, a large percentage of success is thanks to tenacity, mindset, and luck. But the good news is that we have control over all of that. As soon as I unlocked that key I saw a huge change in my career and the opportunities that began to come my way. Once you change how you think, anything is possible!"

Natali Simmonds is a British/Spanish fiction author who began her career in glossy magazines, then moved on to marketing and advertising, managing campaigns for FMCG and luxury brands. Her first book was published in 2017.

As Natali Simmonds, she writes dark and twisty thrillers that have been translated into three languages, with her debut, Good Girls Die Last, having been optioned for TV. She also co-writes paranormal romance as Caedis Knight alongside her best friend, Jacqueline Silvester. In 2022, she was shortlisted for the RNA Fantasy Award.

Natali has her own column in King’s College London’s Inspire The Mind magazine, and lectures for Raindance Film School, Jericho Writers, and the Professional Writing Academy. She is also the Head of Communication for the London Latino Film Festival and the founder of storytelling consultancy, Loom Narrative. Natali loves to combine her passion for storytelling and film with her experience in sales, marketing, and brand development, getting to work alongside groundbreaking creatives, brands, and cultural leaders.

Having lived all over the world, including Spain, the Netherlands, and Australia, Natali is happy to finally be back in her hometown of London.
