The Glasgow Boys revolutionized painting in Scotland by bringing it into the mainstream of European art. 'The Boys' were young Scottish artists who looked to France for their inspiration.
About our lecturer Mr Julian Halsby:
Julian studied History of Art at Cambridge. He was formerly Senior Lecturer and Head of Department at Croydon College of Art. He has a number of publications to his name, interviews artists for the Artist Magazine and is a member of the International Association of Art Critics and The Critics Circle.
