Note if you signed up before 31st July 2026 you keep your 3% fee on every ticket you sell up to and including 31st August 2026. From 1st September 2026 the 5% rate applies to all accounts.

This is an estimate, not a quote. It's here to help you compare like with like. Real charges depend on your account, your country, your buyers' cards and the plan you're on, and prices change from time to time. Always check the current rates with each provider before you decide.
How we've worked it out. We assume you and your ticket buyers are in the same country, that buyers pay with a standard consumer card issued there, and that one ticket is one order. Cards issued abroad, premium and commercial cards, and payments needing a currency conversion all cost more — typically another 1% to 2% on top. We've ignored refunds, chargebacks, disputes, payout fees and any sales tax or VAT you add to the ticket price itself.
VAT on fees. Tixoom is operated by Xeio Ltd, a UK company, so UK customers pay VAT on our fee at the prevailing rate (currently 20%), and we've included that in the figures above. Eventbrite's advertised UK and euro rates already include any tax due. Outside the UK, local taxes on platform fees may still apply. More on tax and VAT →
Tixoom. 5% of the ticket price, plus your own Stripe fees, with no subscription and nothing to pay on free tickets. Accounts opened before 31st July 2026 stay on 3% until 31st August 2026.
Stripe. We use each country's standard pay-as-you-go rate for domestic consumer cards: 1.5% + £0.20 (UK), 1.5% + €0.25 (eurozone), 2.9% + CHF 0.30 (Switzerland), 2.9% + $0.30 (US), 2.9% + C$0.30 (Canada) and 2.9% + AED 1.00 (UAE). Eventbrite. Standard published organiser rates: 6.95% + £0.59 per ticket in the UK and 5.9% + €0.79 in Ireland and the eurozone, both with payment processing included; 3.7% + $1.79 per ticket plus 2.9% processing in the US; and 3.5% + C$1.29 plus 2.9% processing in Canada. We compare on the same basis as our own figures: you absorb the fees, so they come out of your takings. By default Eventbrite instead adds its fees on top of your ticket price, and older accounts may be on different legacy rates.
